A SALUTE TO VETERANS - NOVEMBER 9-11, 2018
The Canton Historical Society presented a weekend-long celebration of our men and women in uniform through the years. The weekend included a 1940s USO-Style Dance on Friday night, museum exhibits of Canton veterans from a variety of time periods, and on Sunday, a presentation on World War II History.

opened their doors to the public on a beautiful day in July, to welcome friends and neighbors from near and far to tour the Society's 'new' building.

The Story of the Amazing 2017 Building Move!
In 2017, it was learned that the historic former Grange and Masonic building was slated for demolition. Within a short amount of time, the Society had negotiated the gift of the building on the condition that it be moved onto the CHS property within 3 months. . .
